Velnai ("we", "us", "our") operates the Velnai platform — a WhatsApp CRM and AI Voice Agent service available at velnai.com. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have over your data.

2. Information We Collect

When you use Velnai, we collect:

  • Account information: name, email address, phone number, profile picture (when signing in with Google), and password (when registering with email)
  • Workspace data: workspace name, team members, agent configurations, knowledge bases, and integration credentials you provide
  • Customer data: the WhatsApp messages and voice call recordings your Velnai-powered agents exchange with your end customers (this data belongs to you, not us)
  • Usage data: log files, IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps for security and product analytics
  • Payment information: processed by our payment provider (Stripe). We do not store full credit card numbers.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To operate, maintain, and improve the Velnai platform
  • To authenticate users and secure accounts
  • To send transactional emails (verification, password reset, billing) and product alerts via WhatsApp
  • To respond to support requests
  • To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents
  • To comply with legal obligations

4. Google Sign-In

When you sign in with Google, we receive your email address, name, profile picture, and a unique Google identifier. We do not access your Gmail, Google Drive, Calendar, or any other Google services beyond basic profile information. You can revoke Velnai's access to your Google account at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:

  • Service providers who help us operate the platform (AWS, Cloudflare, Twilio, OpenAI, ElevenLabs, Cartesia, Deepgram, Stripe). They are bound by data processing agreements.
  • Legal authorities when required by law or to protect our rights.
  • Successors in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets — with notice to affected users.

6. Data Storage and Security

Data is stored on AWS infrastructure in the United States. We use industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS), encryption at rest, bcrypt password hashing, JWT-based authentication, and HttpOnly cookies. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we work hard to protect your information.

7. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing support@velnai.com. Some data may be retained for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention purposes after deletion.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Object to or restrict certain processing
  • Data portability (receive a copy of your data)
  • Withdraw consent at any time
